I have been rather silent as of late. In particular regarding issues with my health.
As I’m sure some of you know from my previous posts; I have been dealing with Corneal Dystrophy for some time now.
Simply put, corneal dystrophy is a progressive disease affecting the cornea (the clear part of the eye that allows light in). In lattice type CD there is buildup of material that causes worsening of vision over time.

Unfortunately my vision in my left eye has deteriorated to the point whereby my Corneal Specialist has determined that transplant surgery in necessary.
I will be documenting my journey throughout the pre-OP and post-OP periods, bot only as a form of therapy, but also so that others who will take the journey will have an idea of what it entails.
I will write a more detailed post at a later date. At the moment I’m still processing everything.
