I haven’t really found much time to post an update on my blog.

To be brief, a few things have happened over the past month.

1) I got promoted at work and have moved towns, I’m now in a much smaller town with a very chill and relaxed atmosphere. I’m still adjusting to the more administrative role that I now have to play, but I’m sure I’ll be settled by year’s end.

2) Moving house is so much work! Not only was moving the cats stressful, I got a few deep scratches for my worries, but just boxing unboxing and preparing the house beforehand is all consuming.

I’ve moved into a smaller, less maintained property. And it’s government owned.

So all the funds for cleaning, pest control, yard maintenance, painting had to come out of my pocket.

I still have a dodgy fence and decades old non functional gate to deal with.

Hopefully I can sort the gate and fence before December.

3) Health. I had my quarterly review with my eye surgeon and while the graft is healthy, the lens’s cataract is growing. So we will have to tackle that next. It means that it’s more surgery for me beginning of 2024.
