Alright.
No it’s not a political post.
Just another observation.
Christians tend to be rather ignorant of the history of their religion.
Ignorant of the texts themselves.
Instead steeping them in all the pageantry and clutter around the religion.

There is a podcast that I have begun to listen to, that talks about dating and marriage within black American Christian culture. And quite frankly, what I get from the guests and pastors that talk on that podcast is that they live as people of the world do.
All they do is sprinkle in “man of god”, “lover of Christ” and other superficialities that cover up how carnal, shallow and misogynistic their views on romantic relationships are.
